About Huntleigh Technology Group
Huntleigh Technology Group (HTG) started in El Paso in 1990 as a data-centric long distance telephone company (an Inter-Exchange Carrier) with a market focus on designing, provisioning, and operating wide area networks for large and small businesses in the southwest.
HTG provides a variety of network services such as: T-1, DSL, metro Ethernet, fixed wireless, and VPNs that tie multiple sites together such as a franchise restaurant operator with more than 25 locations in the region; or, a financial services company with multiple branch offices and ATMs located in the Las Cruces-El Paso borderplex.
Doctors with offices on the westside of El Paso near Providence and Las Palmas hospitals use Huntleigh to create connectivity with their eastside offices near Del Sol and Sierra Providence East Medical Center hospitals, or with their offices near Sierra Hospital on Pill Hill.
Located on the US/Mexico border, the company developed technological expertise in building and supporting different cross-border data communication links for the thriving maquiladora (“maquilas” or “twin plants) operations in Juarez, Mexico.
In 1994, Huntleigh became the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) in El Paso offering Internet access and e-commerce services.
More than anything else, what sets HTG apart from national and other regional providers is our unstinting high level of customer support. As a result, we have established a reputation in the region for exceptional and responsive local technical and customer service. This has allowed the company to build solid business relationships with customers that span almost 20 years of continued service and support.
Huntleigh has hundreds of smaller and medium sized customers that use a broad range of our services services, including: broadband access, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone services and equipment, network security, cabling, collocation/hosting, and other data center services.
As a Telco, HTG is directly connected to major national backbone providers providing both redundancy and diversity. Additionally, the company is directly connected to both of the El Paso local phone companies: AT&T and an alternative competitor. The advantages offered to one of our customers of HTG being directly connected to the two local phone companies -- beyond choice -- is that Huntleigh is able to provide the further redundancy and diversity to customers requiring the highest levels of network availability, which neither local phone company on their own will offer-however, HTG can and will provide this service.
