Some photographs...
...from the American Memories Collection at the Library of Congress.
The next page displays some black and white photos in the digital
collections.
Many photographs in the American Memory Collection were taken by
photographers working for the Farm Security Administration (FSA) or the
Office of War Information (OWI) from 1938 to 1945.
Both color and black and white photographs were taken. The FSA
photographers focused on rural areas and on farm labor. OWI photos are of
factories and women employees, railroads, aviation training, and other
aspects of World War II mobilization.
