Fairacres, New Mexico, southwest United States, is a suburb of Las Cruces,
New Mexico, west on U. S. Highway 70. It's an unincorporated area
of Dona Ana County. It's on the west bank of the Rio Grande River.
In addition to homes, Fairacres houses a large, well-kept cemetery,
an auction house, some mines, and a now disused water slide park.
Fairacres has its own elementary school, while high school pupils bus
to Las Cruces.
Large plots of farm land lie in the valley of the Rio Grande.
There are many photo opportunities in this area. Fairacres rightfully
possesses one of the most flattering place names in New Mexico.
