•  Lamy, New Mexico, via Santa Fe Southern Railroad Rail Line

Lamy is about 18 miles south of Santa Fe, in Santa Fe County. One way to travel to Lamy is to answer an "All Aboard" call at the Santa Fe depot. The Santa Fe Southern runs a working freight train also pulling recreational passenger cars between Santa Fe and Lamy. Passengers ride in a renovated historic passenger car with the old charm recreated. As did railroads in the 1900's, the train carries both passengers and freight to and from Santa Fe with connections to the "main line", or Amtrak, in Lamy. A stopover in Lamy allows passengers to explore the depot area, eat a picnic lunch, or dine at the "Legal Tender" restaurant.
