Picacho Hills, New Mexico--a county-club community near Las Cruces
Picacho Hills, a planned community built around a country club, is located
on the west mesa overlooking Las Cruces, New Mexico, and the Rio
Grande Valley, in southwest United States, Picacho Hills is surrounded by
over two million people within a 60-mile radius (though only 100,000 people
within a 30-mile radius). It's said to be a "peaceful oasis of a community
amidst buzzing surroundings".
Homeowners at Picacho Hills support a private country club which
includes a swimming pool and a golf course. The community is among the
newer residence areas in Dona Ana County.
