In April and November, 1941, the Bureau of Agricultural Economics of
the U. S. Department of Agriculture sent a photographer to northern
New Mexico. He visited schools at El Cerrito and in Taos County,
including Questa, Penasco, Chamisal, Talpa, Prado, and Versylvania(?),
all in the southwest United States.
He took indoor and indoor pictures. He included kids enjoying
one-penny hot-lunches, and students practicing their Christmas Play and
mimeographing a school paper.
His pictures are displayed, in gallery format, on the next page.
Please SCROLL RIGHT on the next page, (instead of down), as the photos
display as if they were on a long gallery wall.
